Hot Air Balloon Trips: We are pleased to recommend Vista Balloons. In the quiet of the morning, enjoy a spectacular balloon ride as you float above Yamhill County's beautiful wine county. The "balloon season" runs from April to November (daily except Tuesdays, weather permitting). Enjoy a delicious breakfast after landing. Our Concierge will be happy to make your reservations.

Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum: Located just 5.4 miles from The Kelty Estate, this museum is best known as the home of the world’s largest wooden flying boat, the "Spruce Goose", the SR-71 "Blackbird", the Titan II SLV Missile and the Grumman F6F-3 "Hellcat". In addition, there are more than 150 historic aircraft, spacecraft and exhibits on display, along with artwork, traveling displays, the Spruce Goose Cafe, the Cosmo Cafe, the Rotors, Wings & Things store, the Right Stuff Store and Oregon's largest IMAX® 3D theater. In the spring of 2009, they added to their facility with the opening of the Captain Michael King Smith Firearms Collection. The Museum is open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM. Regular visitor admission is required.

Golf: You have two golf options—the 9-hole, public Bayou Golf Course or the 18-hole Chehalem Glenn Golf Course in Newberg, only about 10 miles from the Kelty. Please allow our Concierge to help with arrangements.

Shopping: Unless you are familiar with the area, you may certainly need help from our Concierge. Do you like big name brands and outlet savings? You will want to fit in time to visit the Woodburn Company Stores. Antique shopping? Literally, you can walk across the street. Or you can meander through historic downtown McMinnville or enjoy a 23-mile drive to Aurora, where you will enjoy a National Historic District.

Gambling and the Beaches: On your way to the beach, you might want to try your luck at Spirit Mountain Casino. At Lincoln City, you will enjoy the wild beauty of the Oregon coast.
